The guided tour was very interessing. We have learned a lot about the French Revolution. Also things not discussed in history books or in school. Thierry is a very competent, friendly and funny guy! A must if you are interested in history!

For anyone wanting to learn about places of significance or has prior knowledge of the French Revolution, I highly recommend Thierry's tour. A great two hours putting places to names for events I had learned about in history class while studying the revolution. Thierry was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, which was apparent in the way he presented all the information he had to share. Thanks for an amazing afternoon!

I had a wonderful tour with Thierry, who is not only super knowledgeable, but also very charming. He really brings history to life before your eyes. It was an absolute pleasure to discover Paris with him. I cannot recommend him enough.

Today we enjoyed a fantastic tour by Thierry who taught us so much about the French Revolution. He is extremely knowledgeable about his topic and welcomed all of our questions. We were shown a number of famous landmarks and taught about their role in the Revolution. Thierry carried a tablet with many interesting and useful images to help bring the history to life. He is extremely personable and passionate. We were able to appreciate the area so much more with his many insights, and we enjoyed his fantastic sense of humour. I cannot recommend this tour enough- it is great, no matter how much you might already know about French history! The tour was done at a leisurely pace which we appreciated because we had spent the morning wandering around the Musée D’Orsay and were a little tired. His English is impeccable too! Merci Thierry!

Thierry was an awesome host. He communicated with me several times before our history walk, and when we had to reschedule last minute due to travel issues from COVID-19, he was very flexible. He gave a great tour and insight into the French revolution! Despite the fact that all businesses were closed and we couldn't see the Palais Royal, we had a very nice time with Thierry!

This was the best tour I’ve ever been on, and is the highlight of my Paris trip! I turned up knowing the tiniest bit about the French Revolution but Thierry didn’t mind, and started from the very beginning. I left totally fascinated by it, both overall and little side stories connected to the overall events. I can connect the places I walk past/visit in Paris with these key events. I’m so pleased I signed up!

Thierry did a splendid job providing relevant facts about the revolution and crafting a story for each site. The tour started a little slow with visiting sites that no longer existed, but were the birth of the revolution, but Thierry made them interesting with story telling ability and visual aides. Later, we moved onto physical structures and were able to ask any questions as we moved from site to site. I had a pretty good idea of the history of the revolution before the tour, but Thierry provided anecdotes and backstory that I have never heard before at the direct locations where it all went down. A great finishing touch, Thierry left us at Place de la Concorde with easy metro access back home and pointed out multiple sites that we could explore on our own after the tour.

Thierry is a wonderful tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and entertaining, as well. We learned a lot, laughed a lot and his visuals were so helpful with the tour. This is a “must do” for your visit to Paris.

Thierry was an excellent tour guide! He was easy to locate and approachable when first meeting up with him. He is knowledgeable and witty and kept the entire group engaged the whole time. He was open to questions and gave thorough answers. He communicated stories and history well and I walked away feeling so much more in tune with Parisian history. I truly learned so much on his French Revolution tour; I was spewing facts to my family when telling them about my trip to Paris haha! If you only do one walking tour in Paris, Thierry won't disappoint!

Thank you again, Thierry. We throughly enjoyed learning about American history in beautiful Paris and how the United States' and France's past were intertwined in very specific and pertinent ways. Thierry brought the history to light and clarified the relationships between each entity involved in the French and the American revolution -including the British. So much history and treks to many landmarks easily missed without a knowledgable guide. A must for history buffs!

What fun! Thierry is a great storyteller and really seemed to know his stuff. Plus he's a super nice guy who seemed truly interested in each one of us personally. Flair for the dramatic, and a sincere twinkle in his eye. Highly recommended!

By taking us from place to place leading up to the great events he introduced us to the primary players in this great re-creation of the French state.
